KnapNok Games, a developer based in Copenhagen, Denmark, has announced that it will be making a Wii U game called Spin the Bottle. The video is ultra quirky, and it doesn't seem to include any actual footage of the game, though it's difficult to tell. But the minimalistic video does manage to demonstrate the basic concept of the game: turn off the television, and use the GamePad to a play a game of spin the bottle in which pairs of players must perform a variety of silly tasks with Wii Remotes. Tasks shown in the video, as well as in the photos of people playing the game on the website, include pointing, jumping, and dancing while holding a Wii Remote between you with your (facial) cheeks.
Spin the Bottle is described as an “innocent game for innocent kids”, but also “a party game for the young and the adault (sp) audience”. And KnapNok Games is the studio behind Dark Room Sex Game (“an awkward no-graphics erotic rhythm game”). It's not hard to imagine where an adult element might come in with this game, whether it's with adult-specific tasks or the kind of subsumed adult humour that can often be found in animated movies.
Innocent or adult, would you play a game like this?
