There's nothing like the promise of a Team Fortress 2 hat to get people to pre-order a game, and Company of Heroes 2 is no exception to the rule.
Players who pre-order the game on Steam right now will be able to deck out their TF2 characters–specifically, the Medic and the Heavy—with a German Cap and Badge and a Soviet Cap and Badge.
The items are being given away as the first reward tier for pre-ordering the title. The second and third tiers include a free copy of Dawn of War 2: Retribution which you can give away as a gift or use for yourself, and a "Commisar Chest" for use in Company of Heroes 2, which includes a Commander Archetype, XP and unit boosts for multiplayer, and in-game currency which can be used to purchase DLC for the upcoming title.
Company of Heroes 2 is a real-time strategy title which takes place on the Eastern Front. It's currently in development for the PC and is set for an early 2013 release.
