IO Interactive has released a new trailer for Hitman: Absolution called "Introducing: The Ultimate Assassin." This is the concluding video in IO's seven-part "Introducing" series and they really want to let a certain hooded figure know that Agent 47 is back in town.
In the video, we see how Agent 47 goes about in being a badass. He still carries his trademark silverballers, but this time, IO Interactive has borrowed a page from Rocksteady's Arkham games in implementing an "Instinct Mode" in Hitman: Absolution. Think of it as Agent 47's own "Detective Mode" but in a rather more lethal way.
For those who do not want any "help" whatsoever, you can either not use it, or play on one of Hitman's five difficulty modes. And trust me when I say this, some of them sound like real ballbusters.
Also of note, Absolution will let you don disguises and even use things around the environment as weapons. Something the trailer showcases quite effectively.
So, is this enough to entice players to give the "original" assassin's latest romp a go or is Connor's parkour ways still fresh on everyone's minds?
Hitman: Absolution is scheduled to ship on November 20 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
