Sony has announced that its upcoming brawler, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, has gone gold. For the two people who doesn't know the term, a game going gold means that it is now ready to be manufactured and shipped to retailers worldwide.
As a way to commemorate this event, Sony has released the game's opening cinematic for the game. Now, before you watch the trailer below, bear in mind that it reveals the identity of the game's final boss…and it's a blast from the past.
So, if you don't want to spoil the final boss' identity, I suggest skipping the last few seconds of the trailer.
Did you see who I was talking about? It's none other than PolygonMan. If you don't know who it is, I don't blame you. PolygonMan was Sony's "mascot" back in the PlayStation 1 days.
Wasn't what you were expecting, no? I admit, I was surprised by his inclusion. Are you disappointed that he's the final boss for the game?
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is set for release on November 20 exclusively for the PS3.
