Deadly Premonition's Director's Cut still hasn't recieved an official release date past the year 2013 but it did recieve a new trailer today. This controversial game roared onto gamers radars in late 2010 by simultaneously being proclaimed the worst and best game of all time (ok, maybe game of the year at least).
If you haven't heard of this game, here is the synopsis in a nutshell.
Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut focuses on the story of FBI special agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the murder of a young woman in the town of Greenvale. In this small town, players have to solve a murder mystery and survive against the killer and supernatural creatures that have taken residence.
I guess you may have to appreciate Dale Cooper in order to really enjoy this particular game. Or, you may just have to appreciate the details the game chooses to include and avoid. This post from Darius Kazemi outlines one such moment.
The director's cut includes HD Graphics, Updated Controls, and a variety of content in the form of a new scenario. The trailer that was released today can be viewed below.
