At this point, it would be rare to see gamers who have yet to play Fez. The video game was a massive success back in 2012 and has since launched on a plethora of platforms. However, we can now officially add the iOS to the list of platforms the video game is playable on.
Fez is an indie puzzle-platform video game title that was developed by Polytron Corporation and published by Trapdoor. Viewed predominately as a 2D platformer, players have the option to shift the world, essentially presenting a 3D world in order to discover new areas and items that the protagonist can get to.
Featured in the 2012 documentary Indie Game: The Movie, gamers not only can enjoy the Fez but also see some of the development and marketing processes that went into the title.
It’s unfortunate that we’ve never saw a sequel to Fez and likely never will. Likewise, the creator of the video game, Phil Fish, had left the video game industry in 2013. At any rate, players can still enjoy his work to this day and it’s curious as to if the title will also see a launch on the Android platform in the near future.
