The day after fans learn that Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be about 10 hours to complete, Sony took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the release date for the game.
The first-ever stand alone Uncharted title is scheduled to release this Summer on August 22 exclusively on PS4. In addition, they have also released a cinematic cutscene from the game, which you can watch down below:
Check out a new scene from UNCHARTED: The Lost Legacy as Chloe and Nadine try to unravel the clues leading to the Tusk’s location.
Naughty Dog also announced that anyone who pre-orders the game will be receiving the recently announced Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for free.
As beloved games in Naughty Dog’s history, we couldn’t imagine a better pairing for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Anyone that pre-orders The Lost Legacy at participating retailers will receive a free digital copy of Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.
The Lost Legacy will be taking place 12 months after the events of Uncharted 4, meaning with Shoreline crumbling, Nadine is left with no work. This is where the two characters begin their partnership. The two are in search for a priceless relic — the Tusk of Ganesh.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is the first-ever standalone Uncharted game, which is set to release exclusively for the PS4 on August 22 for $39.99 USD.
