Thanks to a press release that was sent over earlier today, we got word of the announcement for Total War: Warhammer II. The video game is set far to the west of The Old World but will continue to bring the same mechanics fans enjoyed from the previous installment.
In a partnership between Sega, Creative Assembly, and Game Workshop comes the next installment of the Total War franchise. Total War: Warhammer II will unveil mystery-shrouded continents that were as mentioned far from The Old World that include Ulthuan, Naggaroth, The Southlands, and Lustria.
Players will have the ability to enjoy four playable races, the High Elves, Dark Elves, Lizardmen, and a fourth yet to be revealed. Each will come with their own unique campaign mechanics and an army roster of Legendary Lords.
It’s stated that the campaign will follow a struggle for dominion over the ailing Great Vortex that has swirled for Millennia above the elven homeland of Ulthuan.
Unfortunately, right now there is no specific release date attached to the upcoming Total War: Warhammer II video game. Instead, the press release that was sent over states that the video game will be launching at some point this year for the PC platform.
