With the impending release of Assassin's Creed 3, undoubtedly Ubisoft's biggest release this holiday season, the publisher is going out with the promotional blitz. Not a day goes by, for example, in which we're not treated with a brand new footage (like this one, from earlier today).
There's also more interactive novelties, like the Hacked History Webgame, which has you examining famous historical scenes and sniffing out whatever's odd. Unlike many find the hidden object in an image puzzles, these are surpassingly tricky, unless one is intimately familiar with the original paintings being used.
But persistence… or just randomly clicking all over the place… pays off. And the reward? The image you see above you. Which appears to be Desmond, not as an alter ego in the Animus, but as his actual self in the modern world. High above in the rafters of some indoor stadium, watching what appears to be an mixed martial arts match? Interesting.
One has to assume that it's mission that the player must engage in that has nothing to do with Connor Kenway/Ratonhnhaké:ton's plight. What do you think?
