Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, a first-person action game with a multiplayer focus, is now available on Steam. Developed by Torn Banner Studios, the game is designed to capture the feeling of the pitched melee combat in movies like “300, Gladiator, Troy, and Braveheart,” says the developer.
Players will take to the field with a host of melee weapons including swords, axes, and spears, and arm themselves with longbows to take on the enemy team in objective-based missions that sees players defending or attacking points of interest. There are also stationary weapons like ballistae and catapults which players can man and use to turn the tide of battle.
Through the game’s Team Objective mode, players will siege castles, raid villages, and assassinate enemy nobility as the opposing team puts up a defense of their positions.

The game costs $24.99 for a single copy on Steam, where it is also available in a four-pack for a discounted price.
