BioWare took to New York Comic Con to announce plans to release a host of new Dragon Age comics and merchandise.
Starting with Dragon Age, a new comic book series titled Until We Sleep is set to kick off the wait for Dragon Age 3, the latest upcoming game in the series of role-playing games. The comic book series will follow in the wake of The Silent Grove and Those Who Speak, and will be written by series writer David Gaider with artwork by Chad Hardin.
Until We Sleep will feature the likes of King Alistair, Varric and Isabella as they ally themselves with the Qunari against an evil mage. The first issue is set to appear in stores on March 27.
Sticking to the Dragon Age franchise, BioWare has also announced plans to release a Dragon Age: The World of Thedas, an encyclopedic volume containing hundreds of pieces of artwork. The book will serve as a definitive guide to the Dragon Age setting.
