Review: Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

June 18, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

In the near future, you are a burly soldier named Kozak.

Today, Jen takes a look at the single player campaign in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Solder. The newest edition to the Ghost Recon franchise takes weapons that could potentially exist in the next few years, and implements them into a first person shooter.

You play as a surly soldier, Kozak, who is part of the four-person Team Hunter. Russian ultra-nationalists are providing weapons to various countries and Team Predator is killed during the interception of a bomb making its way into the United States. Team Hunter seeks out those responsible in an effort to exact revenge. It sounds incredibly manly, right?

The twelve mission campaign takes around ten hours to complete, and each mission takes place in a new environment, adding quite a lot of diversity to the single player mission.

Spoilers, Jen likes it. So you should probably get your hands on a copy.
