Console Release
Overwatch at the moment is only officially confirmed for PC, but a console release may not be completely off the table. There’s been rumors and speculation that Overwatch may see a console release as the game director, Jeff Kaplan, has made mention during a Blizzcon panel last year that Blizzard would absolutely love to see Overwatch become available on whatever the game could be played on. However, even more recently a leak was discovered through a piece of HTML which stated that Overwatch would be available on PC and consoles. This wouldn’t be too off the mark for Blizzard Entertainment as we’ve seen the development team release Diablo 3 on PC and consoles. New information, released by GameInformer through their parent company GameStop, reveals that the game will indeed be heading to consoles.
