Borderlands 3: Players Are Using This Farming Method To Earn 100+ Million Cash Per Hour

September 14, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Collect millions in cash in minutes with this insane money farming method for Borderlands 3.

Cash isn’t that useful a commodity in Borderlands 3 — unless you’re trying to purchase all the SDU storage upgrade from Marcus. The highest tier of SDU costs over a million, and you’ll need a hefty sum of cash to even reach those high-tier SDUs. There’s one for all ammo types, so the amount of cash you need is atrocious.

But, there’s a method you can use to earn insane amounts of money. One method that’s available at launch can net you upwards of 100+ million in an hour or less. The community is pretty much in agreement that methods like this will be heavily patched, but even if they are, you can still use grenades, mods, and artifacts to farm for huge sums of cash. This method isn’t about to just disappear, so let’s get into the details to begin your money-generating operation.

Use Grenades To Farm For Endless Cash | Infinite Money Guide

Before attempting this farming method, you’ll probably want to wait until you’re later in the game. You’ll need access to high level grenades, grenade mods, and artifacts to make this worthwhile. While you’re playing through the game, look out for three types of items:

  • Grenades that cause enemies to drop cash when damaged.
    • Larger damage radius is better.
  • Grenade Mods that cause enemies to drop more cash when damaged.
    • Larger damage radius is also better. The bigger the better.
  • Artifacts that increase the amount of cash you pick up.

Equip all three items when you’re prepared to start farming. This can work at any level and with any random items you find — you can check stores for items with these benefits, so keep looking, you’ll eventually find something you can use.

To get even more cash, you’ll need to reach the end of the game to unlock Mayhem Mode. The thing is, your grenades will generate cash even if you can’t kill enemies, so you can pump up Mayhem Mode to Mayhem Mode III for the biggest bonuses. Cash is doubled in Mayhem Mode III.

To start farming, start out on Pandora — it’s the easiest place, and you don’t want to fight enemies that can shoot you yet. Lure out the Rakks from their nests, group them up, then hit them with endless grenades.

Collect the cash generated, go to the Ammo Vendor to refill your grenades, then fast travel to reset the area. Rinse and repeat as often as you like while hoovering up millions of bucks in cash.

This method comes from Youtuber PrimalLiquid, and while it might get patched, there’s no way you won’t be able to earn tons of cash quickly using this method, even in the future.
