Fire Emblem: Three Houses – How To Recruit Every Character | Recruitment Guide

August 6, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Convince students from every house to join your ranks in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Here’s how to recruit anyone.

You have to pick a house right at the beginning of Fire Emblem: Three Houses — but, you’ll still be able to recruit characters from the other factions. Not only can you bring students from the other houses under your command, you can also recruit neutral heroes that are available to all three houses.

Recruiting characters from a different house requires that you become more adept at certain types of skills. Characters each have their own specific interests, and you’ll only be able to convince them to switch sides if you’ve got the skills they want. Basically, it’s impossible to recruit every single recruit — but you can recruit lots of characters from the other houses if you properly plan.

Below, you’ll find a complete list of characters. Each one is marked with their interests, which you’ll need to level up, and any other additional requirements or unlock conditions.

To recruit students, you must talk to them in the Monastery and select ‘Recruit’ — if your skills are high enough in their chosen interests, they might join you.

Other characters are recruited through other means. Neutral characters can be recruited by all three houses, and depending on the character you select or your house storyline, there may be additional recruitment information.
