Tons of people, us included, are still playing Borderlands 2. It’s been seven years, and plenty of people are returning to the game for two big reasons — first, there’s a new (free!) update called ‘Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary’, and second there’s a Borderlands 3 in the not-too-distant future. It’s a great time to dive in, and there are totally new SHiFT codes you can input now to earn lots of loot. All the codes listed below are still active, and you can use them to unlock cosmetic skins or Golden Keys.

If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, SHiFT codes are promotional keys shared periodically. Usually, you’ll find them on the Borderlands Twitter account, but codes pop up all over the place, including on the Borderlands 3 trailer. Codes usually only last a limited time, so use them when you can! If a code is set to expire, you’ll find the expiration date listed below. Certain codes are also only available on specific platforms, so make sure to check each section before inputting your code.

Golden Key Codes That Still Work [6/11/19]

To enter SHiFT Codes and earn Gold Keys or Skins, open the ‘Extras’ option on the Main Menu. Select ‘SHiFT Code’ — type in or copy / paste the codes.

To use any Golden Keys, go to Sanctuary and find the Gold Chest near the FTS. You can open the Gold Chest and get a load of loot for each key you have.
