#9: See That Star Next To Event? That Means You Can Get A Star Token
Star Tokens are special Tokens you can only get from certain events, and the event will change daily. Check the Star Token to see what you’ll need to accomplish to actually earn a Star Token.
- Gem Grab / Heist / Brawl Ball / Bounty: Earn a Star Token by winning the event.
- Duo Showdown: Ranked in the Top 2 Teams.
- Solo Showdown: Ranked in the Top 4.
- Boss Brawl / Robo Rumble: Complete the Event your first time.
#10: Use Manual Aiming Instead Of Auto-Aiming
Why? Because if you’re auto-aiming, you’ll miss many of your shots — especially at long range. Close range Brawlers can get away with using manual aiming, but those long range Brawlers need to make every shot count. Get using to manual aiming early!
#11: When The Counter Appears, Don’t Bother Holding The Center
See that big counter that appears? If you’re carrying more Gems, there’s no reason to rush into battle. Just hang back and defend. If you can’t hold the center of the map, just back off and let the other team get it. If you fall apart now, you’re risking a total failure.
#12: Use That Ultimate! It Recharges Surprisingly Fast
Like in Overwatch, using your Ultimate is the difference between life and death. It charges pretty fast, so there’s no reason to save it — and even better, the damage you get by using your Ultimate will charge your Ultimate meter. Not half bad.
There are plenty more tips, but we’re focusing on the simple stuff for beginner’s. We’ll update this guide with more tips as we dig deeper into the game — and don’t forget to keep checking out Gameranx for even more guides, all about Brawl Stars.
