San Cordoba | Challenge Tomb Guide

Jump to the Cenote Vista Base Camp in Cenote to locate this Challenge Tomb. To tomb is located in the far north of Cenote, west of the base camp. Swim through the temple until you reach a cave, then climb and rappel down. Eventually, you’ll squeeze through a narrow gap and see the “Challenge Tomb nearby” message.

  1. Push the heavy cannon on wheels to break through the barrier leading into the massive cavern with the San Cordoba shipwreck.
  2. Follow the dry path all the way around to the opposite side of the Cordoba to locate a kick-raft. Kick the raft into the water, then you’ll be able to climb up onto the ship itself.
  3. Find the lever on the deck and move it counter-clockwise until the hanging cannon is above the main deck.
  4. Jump into the water and break through the heavy metal doors. Swim toward the front of the ship. There’s another lever here, but ignore it — instead, find the fallen pole and use it to reach a climbable rock wall. Jump to the crow’s nest.
  5. Turn the lever in the crow’s nest, then climb the ladder even higher up. Once you reach the upper sail pole, go left and jump across to another ledge in the rock. Rappel down, and you can jump to the pole that moved when you used the earlier switch.
  6. Jump down from this pole to reach another lever. Move it so the pole faces the hanging cargo crate. Climb up onto the hanging crate, and jump to the mast so you can reach another high platform — hit the switch to drop the cannon through the deck of the ship.
  7. Use a rope-arrow to quickly slide back to the start of the San Cordoba shipwreck. Drop through the hole, and you’ll find your reward.

Reward: Caiman’s Breath 2 – Further increase breath capacity when swimming underwater.
