Howling Caves | Challenge Tomb Guide
Travel to Kuwaq Yaku and start at the Kuwaq Yaku Ruins Base Camp. The tomb is down the northeast passage. Defeat the wild predators deep inside, then use a rope-arrow to climb over the burning path.
- Pull the first lever to the right to open the first wind tunnel. Jump onto the hanging spiked platform when the wind dies down, then jump to the left side when the wind picks back up.
- Open the second wind tunnel, then go to the far-right side. When the hanging spiked platform is pushed by the wind, pull it toward the stuck spiked platform with a rope-arrow. If it collides, you’ll let the third spiked platform break free.
- Go back and disable the second wind tunnel. Now you can cross over to where the third wind tunnel switch should be — but it’s broken! Instead, climb up and down to the wind tunnel itself, and connect the mechanism via rope arrow to the second hanging spiked platform.
- Re-enable the second wind tunnel to break the blockage out. Now you can disable the second tunnel, and enable the third to clear the fire out of Lara’s path.
