Ark: Survival Evolved is more of a survival action-adventure game. Players are tossed into the island and forced to survive in the ruthless environment. Not only will you have to gather supplies and resources to build a base, but you’ll have to prepare your protagonist to survive other players and creatures that are consistently seeking your demise.

The Flame in the Flood is a roguelike survival adventure game that follows a young girl named Scout. Scout is on her way traveling down a massive river that was due to flood that essentially destroyed most of humanity.
Being a roguelike survival game, players will want to make it as far as they possible can without dying otherwise they will lose precious equipment and valuables. However, there is a checkpoint system attached as well so instead of starting completely over and attempting to regain resources, players can choose to start from a previous checkpoint.
