#20 Fortnite

Fortnite quickly gained popularity when it first launched and continues to see new players daily. The video game is a survival title but the main focus people seem to enjoy is Fortnite Battle Royale.

Within the game mode, players must face against each other to be the last man standing. Most of the game will force players to scavenge items, create teams and laying down traps. Overall, the game is similar to other battle royale video games such as PUBG.

#19 Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Xenoblade Chronicles was a big hit for the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo Switch received a sequel not long after. Much of the game mechanics make a return though the story will star a new character. Overall, the game is set within the world of Elysium which is made up of mostly clouds. Right from the start of the game players will be introduced to a war between kingdoms Mor Ardain and Uraya.

The sequel to the much beloved third-person shooter, Splatoon, is available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. Splatoon 2 is still retains the cartoonish and kid friendly shooter experience where teams attempt to cover the map with their team’s color. Likewise, Splatoon 2 also features a narrative journey single-player mode with other online game modes to face against players and friends.

The Banner Saga is a critical acclaim tactical role-playing video game by developers Stoic. This viking-themed title has players leading a caravan where choices may lead to grim consequences. Overall, the video game centers on the return of a warlike race known as the Dredge. As players go through the campaign, their decisions will determine the fates of both man and Varl.

Skyrim is the fifth game in Bethesda’s ever popular series of role-playing games, The Elder Scrolls. You can easily spend countless hours within this fantasy world and we’d honestly be surprised to find a gamer who has yet to experience this journey. If you have yet to do so, pick up The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition as it comes with past DLC and begin to weave your very own tale.
