#2 Borderlands 2
Gearbox may not be loved by the gaming community for either Duke Nukem Forever or the much newer Aliens: Colonial Marines, but the studio has always done right by its fans with the Borderlands series. The latest game in the series, Borderlands 2, is a lot better than its predecessor in every way.
The story’s nothing to write home about, but the game’s filled with humorous dialogue, interesting bad guys, and more weapons than you can count that you and up to three of your friends can arm yourself with. Played alone, the game is fun—but with friends, it’s a complete blast.
