Evolution of The Legend of ZELDA

March 27, 2017 by Dennis Patrick

The Legend of Zelda series is a historic one for a reason. From NES to Nintendo Switch, Zelda has been breaking new ground for gaming.

The Legend of Zelda first popped up into the market all the way back in 1991. Since then, this franchise went on to release a massive collection of titles with the latest release being The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Since this video game series became such an incredible hit, we decided to look back and go over the evolution of the franchise. From the early days of Link’s adventures, the unique visual styles of Wind Waker, to ultimately the latest installment that helped launch the Nintendo Switch console.

What is your personal favorite title from the long-running franchise? Let us know by leaving a comment down below!
