Bethesda has finally unveiled the latest chapter in their massively popular open-world RPG series The Elder Scrolls. Announced via the Elder Scrolls website, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind promises 30+ hours worth of adventure through a brand new zone, with a new player class as well as a new 4v4v4 PvP mode.
Hailed as ‘the biggest addition’ to the Elder Scrolls Online arena to date, ESO: Morrowind provides an accessible platform for veteran players to jump back in and resuscitate existing characters, as well as a space for newcomers to test the waters, even without having completed any previous ESO content. The main setting for the game, Vvardenfell, is described as the largest zone added to ESO since launch, and will transport players 700 years back in time – before the events of The Elder Scrolls III ever happened.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is scheduled to release on June 6 2017 for PC, Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The standard edition comes in at $59.99 USD, or if you already own ESO you can pay an extra $39.99 USD to unlock ESO: Morrowind content. Pre-orders are currently available through the website, where hardcore fans have to option of treating themselves to a collector’s edition, digital collector’s edition, or digital collector’s edition upgrade.
