November 10, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

You can now play the game at increased fidelity.

The Elder Scrolls Online, Bethesda’s massively multiplayer online game for consoles and the PC, has just been updated to support native 4K for anyone who owns the PlayStation 4 Pro.

The update is completely free for all PS4 Pro players regardless of whether you buy the game new or simply move from an existing PS4. It will automatically play at 4K resolution on TVs that support it. For those who have yet to upgrade to 4K, the game will adjust accordingly and still deliver the increased high fidelity visuals in standard 1080p HD by downsampling the image—so you can enjoy a much crisper view of Tamriel.

You can check out the 4K trailer below. For the full experience, be sure to watch it on a display that supports 4K.
