Halo 5: Guardians will be getting its next free expansion pack as announced by 343 Industries. The “Monitor Bounty” DLC will include the usual more weapons and new warzone maps. However what may be unusual is the custom game browser and an observer mode what will allows players to watch ongoing custom games.
This new custom game browser will allow players to search for customs games that are in progress and join them should they decide the other players are worthy of their presence. Obviously players can limit this by adjusting the privacy settings and keeping matches private should they choose. “We’ve also updated the content browser so that if you find a map or mode that you like, you’ll be able to browse for in-progress custom games from that file’s options,” said lead designer Vincent Hui.
343 Industries is also encouraging the players to get into the giving spirit. Players will be allowed to gift a Req to on of their friends. Every player will receive a Req that can only be given to another player.
