You can rent your own private servers in Battlefield 1. EA previously announced that players who want to run their own private servers for the game will be able to do so in the upcoming game, which comes out this week.
The company stated that there would be some changes to its on-going Rent-a-Server program. The publisher today revealed its pricing scheme for PC, Xbox One and PS4 servers.
Players will be able to rent their own servers starting November. Interestingly, PC gamers are going to have to shell out a bit more than their console counterparts, for some reason. It’s unclear at this point as to why PC gamers will have to pay more for servers given that both console and PC servers run at a 60hz tickrate.
