When Rocket League launched in July 2015, it blasted its way into the attention of the gaming community ever since. The game that has two teams controlling rocket-propelled cars around an arena and trying to score the most points is highly popular, and the development team over at Psyonix has been hard at work updating the game with new content to help keep that interest alive. The newest update coming next month will take players underwater in the new AquaDome map.
The new AquaDome location is the first standard Arena released for the game since Utopia Coliseum. What that means is that it’ll be utilized in many of Rocket League’s default modes. Two new nautical cars will be available as DLC alongside the debut of the arena – the Triton and the Proteus. While the AquaDome will be released for free, you’ll have to pay $1.99 for each of the vehicles.
Rocket League is available now for PC (Mac/Linux), PS4, and Xbox One. The DLC will release next month, in October. To learn more about the game, check out the developer’s website, Twitter, and Facebook.
