Batman: The Telltale Series Gets Release Date

July 15, 2016 by Nick Monroe

Digital version comes in August. Retail version arrives in September.

BatmanTelltaleReleaseDateHeaderSee Gotham City in a new perspective, when Batman: The Telltale Series arrives for the first time in August. It’ll come out in a five-part episode series, standard for Telltale releases. It’ll show us why Batman still needs Bruce Wayne, instead of just the other way around.

“As a publisher and developer of award-winning content around the world, we’re thrilled to strengthen our relationship with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to further extend our reach to retailers across the globe.” said Steve Allison, Senior VP of Publishing at Telltale Games. “Warner Bros. has been an incredible partner to work with, and we look forward to working with them to help ensure players can discover our unique, story driven experiences in stores everywhere for years to come.”

You’ll see familiar faces from the series. Like Harvey Dent, Vicki Vale, Alfred Pennyworth, James Gordon, Carmine Falcone, and Selina Kyle.

“Telltale has a stellar reputation for delivering quality content based on world-renowned properties and these games make a great addition to our line-up,” said Kevin Kebodeaux, Senior VP of Sales at Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment. “We previously worked with Telltale on The Wolf Among Us and now on the recently announced Batman – The Telltale Series, so we are very pleased to expand our partnership with worldwide retail distribution for its upcoming titles.”

Batman: The Telltale Series comes out in August via digital download for PC, Mac, Consoles, and Mobile devices. But starting on September 13th, it’ll be available as a Season Pass Disc at retail stores. For the latest updates on the game, check out Telltale’s website, Twitter, and Facebook.
