Three new games are joining the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass library for Game Boy Advance this month.
Monster Rancher Advance is the first Pokémon style game in this franchise to hit a Nintendo console. But while Pokémon has you train your monsters by battling other Pokémon, Monster Rancher brings in a layer of Tamagotchi/Harvest Moon, as you raise and train your monster into fighting shape day by day.
Metal Slug Advance is the first true original console game in the franchise. Reflecting this, you fight with a life bar for the first time, and you collect over 100 cards to buff your stats and unlock new slugs.
Finally, Kururin Paradise is the sequel to Kuru Kuru Kururin, officially releasing outside Japan for the first time. The main game is still the same maze navigation puzzle, with more control over your helicopter rotor, and new challenges to face through each maze.
All these games may not be for everyone, but everyone should find something to like in Switch Online’s Game Boy Advance library now.
