PC gamers may want to hold off on buying GTA 6 on consoles.

GamesBeat reports that GTA 6 is releasing on PC in the first 3 months of 2027, “according to four industry sources familiar with the studio’s plans.”
This would be a considerably quicker turnaround compared to even Rockstar’s most recent games. It usually takes a year after the game’s launch before they bring the latest GTA to PC. Of course, most gamers remember that for most of GTA’s history that launch was exclusive on PlayStation’s consoles.
As videotech pointed out, they referred to releasing one platform extension, AKA a port of an existing game, in their financial report last May. This platform extension is releasing before the end of the financial year, which would align with Q1 2027.
Last month, Twitch CEO Dan Clancy apparently leaked that GTA 6’s GTA Online would also be releasing in 2027. While not directly related, they could hint Rockstar is eager to roll out GTA 6 as quickly as possible.
