There’s an interesting new rumor about the next Ape Escape.
AsobiAr on Twitter claims that Evening Star is the studio working on this game. Last week, all we knew from rumors was that neither Team Asobi nor Bandai Namco were involved with the new Ape Escape.
AsobiAr doesn’t claim to have an eyewitness or document that can confirm this for sure, but there are reasons to believe it’s happening.
The studio recently put out a job listing for a 3D character artist with experience on anime style characters. Subsequently, Evening Star CTO Hunter Bridges is a fan of the series. He was director for Penny’s Big Breakaway.
And then, Evening Star’s CEO and executive producer Dave Padilla moved to Tokyo last year. These claims don’t confirm it for sure, as Evening Star could be working on something else.
But it seems possible in the sense that the studio was surely desperate to pick up a new project after they finished Penny’s Big Breakaway for Private Division.
