We have confirmation that Ubisoft is still working on Beyond Good And Evil 2, from an odd source.

Odd sort of non-announcement but for the past few months I’ve been working on Beyond Good & Evil 2 in a support/consultant role.
I am allowed to say this, I checked.
Rik is a narrative director at Ubisoft Bordeaux, recently working on Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
The last time we reported on Ubisoft confirming that Beyond Good And Evil 2 is still in development was all the way back in 2023. But we will note that the game is regularly cited in the company’s financial reports.
There’s some novelty to this update because one developer isn’t expected to represent an entire game company. On the other hand, the fans have become cynical on whether it will still release at all.
The latest rumor going around is that it has undergone so much change that Ubisoft is planning to change its name too. Hopefully we won’t have to wait that much longer for official word from Ubisoft.
