We may be finally seeing Beyond Good & Evil 2 again… but looking completely different.

Nash Weedle claims that the game has gone through many, many changes and will be revealed again this year, under a completely new name. Nash believes it could be at this year’s The Game Awards, which may be the biggest event available for this purpose after June.
Nash also says that the game is being made on a very scalable engine. Apparently it’s possible that Beyond Good & Evil 2 could also come to Nintendo Switch 2, but Nash didn’t outright confirm it.
If this game does come out, it’s already guaranteed to break Duke Nukem Forever’s record for the longest period of development of a single video game. Rumors about the projects development hell have been brewing for years.
It’s also been rumored that Ubisoft has held on to this game to help keep the company attractive to potential buyers If this was true, then Ubisoft would have to finally live up to this promise after settling on a deal with Tencent.
