The Halo community is still talking about Halo Studios and its head Pierre Hintze – but not in a favorable way.
As we learned yesterday, Activision is now making the next Halo game. Halo Studios has had massive layoffs, with the remaining staff assigned to support their current games.
One former employee ironically expressed relief, revealing that the last year in the studio was miserable. In light of this, we brought up accusations vs. Pierre Hintze. Now, more stories about Pierre and Halo Studios have come up.
TechnicalHalo shared that Pierre met some content creators in 2018, and the community found him ‘rude, quiet, and argumentative.’ They had to convince him not to release the Halo remakes one by one or add a paid mods shop.
Former Halo art director Glenn Israel, who already alleged misconduct at Halo Studios, directly accused Pierre of committing a criminal offense on LinkedIn.
Glenn’s post received support from another former Halo employee, Tyson Matanich. Tyson then alleged Pierre tried to coerce him into overtime just after his grandmother passed away.
Halo fans believe Pierre is still in Halo Studios. If true, it’s a decision we must question from Asha Sharma.
