We have huge news on one of Nintendo Switch 2’s biggest upcoming 3rd party titles.

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition received a lot of hype when it was announced for Switch 2, as one of FromSoftware’s most successful titles is finally coming to Nintendo.
But roughly one year ago, the game faced some controversy as early previews of the game indicated poor performance. It was eventually determined published Bandai Namco brought an early build for previews, but there was uncertainty if FromSoftware could optimize the game to meet expectations.
As reported by GoNintendo, the staff at Japanese games media Denfaminicogamer were overwhelmed at what they saw in their preview, weeks before launch.
The staffer who played the preview previously played Elden Ring for over 100 hours. While they did not make estimates on resolution or framerate, they were ‘utterly speechless’ that they saw no lag, stuttering, or similar performance issues.
They also claim that handheld mode performed so well that they didn’t see any difference.
Denfaminicogamer shared gameplay footage on YouTube, so you can see for yourself what they experienced below.
