One more publisher seems to be chomping at the bit to reveal games for Nintendo Switch 2.
As shared on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit by user venom_daemon, the THQ Nordic has a dedicated page for Switch 2 on their website. There are seven slots for games on the page, all of which are labeled Unannounced Project, TBA (To Be Announced.)
venom_daemon also tried some basic datamining to see if there were any hints at what games they were going to reveal, but there’s nothing there.
The modern incarnation of THQ Nordic under Embracer has been a major publisher on the Nintendo Switch. They have brought these IPs to the platform:
- Darksiders
- Let’s Sing
- Spongebob Squarepants
- Gothic
- Reanimal
We think we know they haven’t revealed any of their Switch 2 games yet. Last year there was a rumor that Nintendo didn’t send Switch 2 dev kits to Embracer because they didn’t trust them with them.
Since that time, Nintendo has supplied dev kits to everyone who wants them, so THQ Nordic may have just been waiting to get the A-OK.
