We may finally know what Tom Clancy’s The Division: Definitive Edition is – prepare to be disappointed.

We know that Tom Clancy’s The Division: Definitive Edition is real, because Ubisoft prepared billboards with this title in a recent Japan event. But they didn’t announce what this is to the public, either in Japan or the rest of the world.
It is possible that attendees were told but are under NDA not to talk about it. But that’s where the latest rumor comes in.
This was shared in the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit by user llowpz, but BLACK TVSK revealed the information in Twitter:
‘The Division 1: Definitive Edition’ will be released in March and will include:
- Underground Expansion
- Survival Expansion
- Last Stand Expansion
- Cosmetic and Outfit Packs
What this means is that this is not a remaster or remake of the original game. It’s just a repackaged bundle that includes the base game and all the DLC.
It will be disappointing if true. But now that we know that Ubisoft is still dealing with a grave business crisis, we should have probably expected this.
Maybe Ubisoft will at least make new ports to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
