In 2009, I stopped mucking about around the history and general interest magazines I'd been bothering for too long and got myself a proper job writing about video games for a living. The first game I reviewed was Mini Ninjas and was impressed by how retro it felt, it was like playing the PS1 Spyro or Crash games all over again.
So it's pretty exciting to find that Square Enix might be bringing another game to the series. Mini Ninjas: Hiro's Adventure is the as-yet unannounced follow-up to the series, revealed by a trademark filing and a website registration. No more details have been revealed, even platforms are only a guess, but expect something to come out at the very latest at E3.
And if you enjoy family-friendly platformers with a definite retro vibe, check out Mini Ninjas before the announcement of a sequel rapidly chucks the price back up.
