It seems only five minutes since people turned on Modern Warfare 3 via Metacritic. How could the mighty have fallen so far and released a game that nobody wanted (but millions bought and enjoyed)? Now the same thing is happening for Mass Effect 3, a game that currently has hundreds of negative user reviews and a user score below five across the board.
Not only do these people feel the need to complain about a multiplayer mode (which they don't need to play) and day one DLC (which they don't need to buy), but they're also giving away important plot points including things from several of the endings. So there you have it, not only have THEY not enjoyed the game, but they don't want anybody else to either.
I haven't played it yet – I'm still in two minds about whether to pick it up and add it to the long list of games I've bought and need to play or wait for a price cut – and some of these negative reviews might be valid. Those posting spoilers on a review site, complaining about how they should be given content for free and second guessing why Bioware made certain design decisions really need to back off, however. They're making us all look bad.
