The tower-defense-action-RPG hybrid video game, Hero Defense: Haunted Island, from independent developer Happy Tuesday now has its own multiplayer mode which is available on Steam today. Now gamers can face each other through a fast-paced 1v1 multiplayer mode where the match will only reward those able to outsmart and strategically place their heroes around the game map.
Sent via a press release earlier today, we’re getting word that an online multiplayer mode is now available for the Hero Defense: Haunted Island video game. Overall, the gameplay will remain much of the same, as a hybrid between tower defense and action RPG.
Players will have five heroes to use at their disposal when taking on the opposing enemies waves of “creeps” in which case after defeating, the player can begin their move on dismantling their opponent’s defenses. CEO of Happy Tuesday, Karsten Härle had this to say about the release of Hero Defense: Haunted Island.
“We’ve worked long and hard to innovate on classic Tower Defense mechanics, and I think players of Hero Defense will be quite surprised how competitive we’ve made this mode. I look forward to their reactions!”
You can pick up the video game right now on Steam for $14.99. Take a look at the launch trailer posted above along with screenshots down below.
