Grand Theft Auto 6 Fans Speculate News Is Coming Soon After Rockstar’s Latest Move

March 13, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

Fans can’t wait to see more of this game. We can’t blame them.

We can’t blame fans for looking at anything Rockstar Games does to pinpoint the next showcase for Grand Theft Auto 6. Developers know that this game is incredibly hyped and anticipated by fans worldwide, so they are likely being very cautious about what they show and how they present the game. But now speculation is running rampant that a new showcase is planned soon over a recent Rockstar Games move.

Thanks to TheGamer, we’re finding out about the latest speculation posts surfacing online by fans. This all stems back to a Discover server that was opened up by the folks over at Rockstar Games. In particular, Rockstar Games opened a server to help players across the community use LFG channels if they do fill up their crews.

Of course, because of this move, several fans are out there anticipating that this is just the start of a new marketing move from Rockstar Games. We don’t know how true that might be as, again, fans have pointed towards anything and everything for Grand Theft Auto 6 news.

Beyond the news of when we’ll get our next look for GTA 6, we’ve seen a recent listing appear online that caused quite a bit of concern. If you didn’t catch the news earlier this week, a reliable marketer posted a listing for Grand Theft Auto 6, launching with a $112 price tag. That is quite a steep increase from the current standard for a new AAA game.

Meanwhile, there is even speculation about what this game could do for console manufacturers. One analyst recently commented that with the release of Grand Theft Auto 6, Xbox might experience one final hurrah for its Xbox Series X/S consoles.

At any rate, this is all speculation right now, as we haven’t received anything official from Rockstar Games. Still, the next GTA game is slated to launch sometime this year.
