We don’t know what all Naughty Dog has in the works right now. Their latest release was The Last of Us Part II, along with its remastered release. However, it looks like we know that the next game will have Troy Baker attached. However, the finer details, such as what caliber Troy Baker is involved or what the game will be about, are still a mystery.
Fans of the Naughty Dog studio will have to wait a little longer to find out what the studio has in the works. However, thanks to Eurogamer, who credits a GQ piece, we learn that Troy Baker will return to Naughty Dog’s studios to help with their latest game project. For those unaware, Troy Baker is a talented voice actor with several credits behind his name. However, you might know him as Joel’s voice from The Last of Us.
Again, we unfortunately don’t know anything about Naughty Dog’s project. We previously reported that Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann has stated that he has no control over when his next game is revealed. Instead, that decision is up to Sony, so we’ll have to wait for marketing to begin and details to emerge regarding where the studio is with the development progress.
Of course, we know that Troy Baker’s latest video game is nearing release. For those unaware, Troy is the voice actor who portrayed Indiana Jones in the upcoming game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. That game is coming our way next month from MachineGames. However, it wasn’t long ago that Bethesda’s Todd Howard admitted he didn’t initially want Troy as the actor portraying this character. You can learn more about that and how he managed to get the role right here.
