Is it Valentine's Day again already? Damn. Well, let's set the bar even lower for today with this low-score run on Super Mario World! Ha ha, how depressing did that sound? Anyway, it's actually quite a feat! You hear about all these 'high-score' runs and how're they're the 'cat's pyjamas' (first time I've used that saying in awhile), but I believe that this is even more impressive!
Here's the low-down on the rules:
Rule 1: Must be played on an actual SNES.
Rule 2: Must not redo or quit any level half way through.
Rule 3: Must play as Luigi.
Rule 4: Must never be hit.
Rule 5: Must not pick up any coins.
Rule 6: Must not pass the goal with more than one second remaining.
Over the course of his run, the gamer goes through sixteen levels and scores a WHOPPING total of 500 points. The above video lasts almost 28 minutes, but don't worry, he fast forwards during Rule #6. We don't want to make today worse than it already is.
