Fallout 4’s Wasteland Workshop Trophies Aren’t Much To Boast About

April 9, 2016 by Stephen Daly

Three bronze trophies for your deathclaw-taming troubles.

Fallout 4’s second DLC, Wasteland Workshop, launches next week and will come with just three bronze trophies. They shouldn’t be worth more than 20 Gamerscore at most each as Xbox achievements – the likelihood is they won’t even be worth that much.

The trophies, according to Exophase, are:

  • Docile: Have 5 tamed creatures in a settlement.
  • Instigator: Start a spectated arena fight in a settlement.
  • Trapper: Build one of every cage fight.

The game’s first DLC, Autromatron, offered five bronze trophies and added a new story, settlement, and robot building mechanic. Those trophies were pretty straightforward to unlock and it seems these will be as well.

Wasteland Workshop allows you to tame creatures you encounter in the Commonwealth and force them to fight for you in an arena settlement. You can even trap raiders or force your settlers into the ring if you like (maybe this way you’ll finally be able to stop Preston Garvey giving you the same three quests endlessly?).

Slavery is at the heart of Fallout 4, with the Institute’s synths effectively being used as such. Thankfully, there’s no karma system this time round if you decide to force people into the arena.

Wasteland Workshop will also add a number of new signs for use in your settlements and the game’s survival mode, currently in beta on PC, may officially launch alongside it.

Next month will see the release of Far Harbor, the game’s most substantial DLC so far. Set in Maine, the expansion will include the largest landmass Bethesda has ever created for a DLC.
