Luckily the game does give players other options in combating the monster, with one being to stop The Beast from getting out of the walls of the bunker. This action is tied to getting the Cut It Off Achievement, which is easy to get and just as easy to miss. How To Get The Cut It Off Achievement In Amnesia: The Bunker

After a player’s introduction to The Beast in the kitchen when they are given the pistol, it will begin to travel mainly through the walls of the bunker, with the sounds of it scurrying being able to hint where he is. There are holes found throughout the bunker that The Beast can exit from the walls and patrol the halls themselves. These holes are what you will need to use along with a heavy box found throughout the bunker to get the Cut It Off Achievement.

Players are able to drag these heavy boxes and place them in front of the holes, stopping The Beast from exiting through that specific hole. The easiest way to get this Achievement is to block one of these holes and then make a loud noise near the hole such as an explosion or gunshot. The Beast will attempt to enter the bunker at the hole closest to the sound, so it should make its way to the hole that has been blocked. The Beast will hit against the box, stopping it from entering and unlocking the Cut It Off Achievement and Trophy. Be aware that these boxes won’t stop The Beast from entering from a hole permanently since the box will be destroyed if the monster attempts to enter the bunker from that hole several times.
