BioWare’s Mass Effect Andromeda and its upcoming new IP, which has not yet been named, are both “looking stunning” according to BioWare Montreal and Austin’s head of design and art Alistair McNally.
On Twitter, McNally commented: “Played Mass Effect Andromeda yesterday and then today our new IP. Both of which are looking stunning. Today I wore a plain t-shirt.”

The part about the t-shirt referred to a previous tweet in which McNally revealed he had been wearing a t-shirt during last week’s GDC with the new IP’s logo. The new IP’s game director Jonathan Warner confirmed last night that BioWare hasn’t decided on the name yet.
And no, we haven't revealed the name. You'll know it when we do! #bioware #secretIP #Boom

The new IP was officially announced in September 2012 and BioWare has been largely silent on the game since that time. Since then, the developer has released Dragon Age Inquisition while Mass Effect Andromeda is expected to launch in early 2017. It’s not currently known when the new IP will be released.
When it was announced, BioWare said the game would be developed using “new gaming technology.” The comment likely refers to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which had not been released at that time.
EA’s chief financial officer Blake Jorgensen recently said they have a few games that will be revealed over the next few months, “We’ve got a couple of things up our sleeve that we haven’t talked about yet but you’ll probably see them teased over the next six months.”
Mass Effect Andromeda sees the protagonist, called Pathfinder or Ryder, depart for the galaxy of the game’s title though the precise reason is not yet known.
