Titanfall Is Coming To Origin Access For Free

March 11, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

Titanfall is getting added to the Origin Access Vault.

Respawn’s 2014 multiplayer FPS Titanfall is coming to Origin Access in the near future. It will be added to the service’s library of free PC games, so anyone with a subscription to the service will be able to play it without having to buy the game.

Electronic Arts made the announcement today, although it declined to share a specific release date for it. The game is already available through Xbox One’s EA Access service. We presume that its delayed release on the PC is due to existing agreements with Microsoft.

Titanfall will be the 17th game in the Origin Access Vault following the addition of Dragon Age Inquisition, the Dead Space trilogy, a good chunk of the Battlefield games, and some third-party titles like Torchlight II. Here’s everything they offer (so far):

  • Battlefield 3
  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dragon Age: Origins
  • Dragon Age 2
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • Sim City
  • The Sims 3
  • FIFA 15
  • Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Need For Speed Rivals
  • Dead Space
  • Dead Space 2
  • Dead Space 3
  • This War of Mine
  • Torchlight II

Origin Access costs $5 a month and provides gamers with a library of free games as well as five-day early access to upcoming EA titles and a 10 percent discount on all games purchased through Origin.

Titanfall will be having its story continued in a sequel set for release at any time between the end of 2016 to early next year. Unlike the first game that was purely multiplayer, the new title will have a full fledged single-player campaign due to popular demand.
