EA Launches Origin Access for PC

January 12, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

EA Games has launched its Origin Access subscription service for the PC.

EA Games has just revealed that they are bringing their subscription-based service for games to the PC, via Origin. The program, which was successful on the Xbox One as EA Access, provides gamers with full access to EA titles for a subscription fee. It's a like Netflix or Hulu, but for EA's games. They're calling it Origin Access.

Gamers in the US, Canada, UK and Germany will be able to purchase a subscription that provides access to the following titles on the PC:

Battlefield 3, 4 and Hardline
Dragon Age 1, 2, and Inquisition
Sim City
The Sims 3
FIFA 15
Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
Need for Speed Rivals
Dead Space and its two sequels
This War of Mine

The service costs $4.99 a month, with more games being constantly added to the roster. Subscribers will also receive early access to upcoming games ahead of everyone else. Not all of EA's games will be available as part of the subscription, so you'll be able to buy them at a 10% discount.
