The next three expansion packs for Rainbow Six Siege will be centered on the United States of America, Brazil, and Japan, VideoGamer.com reports.
The settings for the three expansion packs were revealed in a slide prestented during Ubisof’ts Investor Day conference earlier today. It was confirmed that the three packs are currently scheduled to launch in Q2, Q3, and Q4 of this year respectively.
Two new Operators from the selected countries’ task force and a new map are expected to be included with each of the expansions. All of the available content will unlockable for free using the in-game currency known as ‘Renown’.
Players who have purchased the game’s Season Pass will gain immediate access to the new Operators as they become available throughout the year.
Operation Black Ice, Rainbow Six Siege’s first expansion pack, launched earlier this month and included two Operators from Canada’s Joint Task Force 2 counter-terrorism unit. It was also confirmed that a new Japanese Operate will be introduced to the game during the autumn.
The Operation Black Ice pack added a new map called Yacht (no prizes for guessing the setting for that one), new characters Buck and Frost, a spectator camera for custom games, new weapon skins, and the Leg Trap tactical weapon.
Ubisoft has not yet announced exactly when these packs will be available or what they will be called. Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. An update in January increased the penalty for cheating.
